Bebe is a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever mix born around December 1, 2024. In May 2025, she was rescued from a Walmart parking lot in Anchorage, Alaska, alongside two other puppies, one of whom was her sister, Butters. The puppies came from an extreme neglect and hoarding situation. Over 70 dogs were removed from the home where they were living in heartbreaking conditions.
Today, Bebe is a joyful, goofy dog who absolutely adores other dogs. While she continues to work on building trust with humans outside of her close circle, she has made great progress and approaches each new milestone with courage. She is endlessly sweet, wonderfully silly, and unintentionally hilarious. Watching her transform from a severely neglected puppy into the happy, confident dog she is becoming has been one of the greatest privileges.
Bebe’s favorite activities are chasing a flirt pole, running Fast CAT, and participating in all kinds of training—from obedience and flyball to parkour and trick training. She is an enthusiastic tugger, has a particular weakness for oversized stuffed toys (especially duck-shaped ones), and believes that every kind of food is worth celebrating.
