Primadonna Girl was born on April 2, 2022 and, due to unfortunate circumstances, she and her littermates ended up in foster care with Kenai Peninsula Animal Lovers Rescue. ADGW member, Maija Doggett, adopted Prima (then known as Allie-Kat) in June 2022. In addition to flyball, Prima is learning agility and dog parkour.
Prima is one of five rescued dogs in the Doggett household–part of a legacy of rescued dogs to perform successfully in canine competitive and titling events. Her sister Diva and brother Zoom (deceased) are both rescued Siberians who led incredible flyball careers. Her other flyball siblings include Portuguese Podengo Pequeno Busy, deaf brother Buddy, and mixed breed Freya.
When Prima’s not playing sports, she is a serious cuddler who loves to give hugs and kisses. Prima and the whole Doggett pack demonstrate that adopting a dog from a shelter is a great way to realize your competition, titling, and companion canine goals.
