2024 ALASKA SUMMER SOLSTICE TOURNEYS

June 19-23, 2024

Alaska Dogs Gone Wild will host our 18th set of solstice-themed flyball tournaments at the Alaska State Fairgrounds in Palmer, AK on June 19, June 20, and June 22-23, 2024 (with a break on June 21 if the weather cooperates). All entries must be submitted by May 22, 2024.

Additional Tournament Information

  • Two one-day tournaments on June 19 and June 20 and one two-day tournament on June 22-23, 2024 (make-up rain day on June 16 if necessary) at the Alaska State Fairgrounds in Palmer, AK (at approximately mile 40 of the Glenn Highway).
  • Closing date is May 22, 2024
  • Grass running surface with a minimum runback of 65 feet. View photos of the site.
  • Unlimited Regular and Open racing.
  • $110/team for each one-day tournament; $190/team for the
    two-day tournament

On-Site Camping/RV Parking

Overnight camping and RV parking will be available at the tournament site, which is located at the Alaska State Fairgrounds in Palmer, AK (at approximately mile 40 of the Glenn Highway).

  • Fees are $15/night for RVs and $10/night for tents.
  • Electrical hookups are available, but no sewer. There are no water hookups, but water and restrooms are available on the grounds.
